Delete your Arkive account

These instructions apply to Arkive: Pet Companion, operated by Tribal Ventures LLC.

Delete inside the app

Sign in to Arkive and open Settings > Account > Delete Account. Review the explanation, then select Delete Forever to initiate permanent deletion. Keep the app open while Arkive processes the request. If Arkive cannot confirm completion or says processing is taking longer than expected, it is safe to retry or contact support.

Request help on the web

If you cannot access the app, email support@tribalventuresgroup.com with the subject “Arkive account deletion request.” Please do not send a password, authentication code or unnecessary sensitive information.

Identity verification

For account protection, we may need to verify that you own the account before processing the request. Sending an email starts the request; it does not by itself confirm identity or mean that deletion is complete.

What deletion removes

Deletion removes your Arkive sign-in account and user profile; data in a household where you are the only member; associated files in Arkive storage; and user-owned usage, provider, playdate, community, request, reply, review, sighting, and legacy affiliate-interaction records handled by the deletion service.

Shared data and retained records

If a household has other members, its shared household and pet records remain available to them, while your membership and identifying account fields are removed. Arkive retains a limited deletion-job record containing status and outcome information so deletion can be retried safely and verified. Other limited records may be retained where necessary for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or compliance purposes.

Timing and retention

The in-app request waits for the deletion service to report completion and may take several minutes. A support-assisted request begins after any required identity verification. Arkive has not adopted a single fixed retention period for every retained legal, security, or deletion-audit record; each is kept only as needed for its stated purpose and applicable obligations, then removed or de-identified when no longer needed.

Subscriptions

Deleting an Arkive account does not independently cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google. Manage or cancel the subscription through Apple or Google, as applicable, to prevent future renewal.
